PatchVault, as a piece of software, is written in Ruby on Rails, a web application framework in the Ruby language. We just upgraded to version 6 and have setup some of the next batch of features and fixes.
We've also changed how we handle events to more cleanly mirror ISCA 2017 guidelines. "e" is now a boolean (true/false) on any given issue, and then can be followed by the issue's category, type, and number. Previously it was a category itself, which disallowed issue numbers such as eYS1987-2 or eZX2001-2, etc.
