Notes from "History of Blue Ridge Mountains Council Through Insignia, 2004 Update": The totems of the two Lodges that merged to form Tutelo Lodge are featured on this flap and all other service flap issue. The Wise Old Bird of the Forest was Koo Koo Ku Hoo's totem, and the Indian n the War bonnet was the totem of Powhatan Lodge.
