Same design as R1
Issued in 1978, this patch is commonly referred to as the Chenille Black Thunderbird. There were 50 made and each one was numbered. The first 25 were by pre-order only. A second run of 25 was made due to demand. The designer was Kirk Williams and each C1 has his initials, KSW, on it’s back. One of the patches from the initial run, however, was taken from the box before being signed and numbered. Its whereabouts are unknown.
