DBR deer; 2 part arrowhead
Issued in 1977, this design was only a minor change to the F3. In 1976, the National BSA required all Order of the Arrow patches to have an FDL or the letters “BSA” to show that the OA was part of the BSA and not its own movement. When the F3 was made, they forgot about this requirement. The F4 was made to correct this mistake. This flap was also designed to be a trader issue. What distinguishes this patch from the similar looking F5 is the color of the deer, the bent legs, and the two part arrowhead. The patch was made by Geer Patch Company.
