The lodge approved the production of a patch to memorialize scout Robert Hubbard after his untimely death at the age of 19. Robert was a staff member at Skymont and had been an active lodge member. The fall ordeal of 2003 was named the "Robert Hubbard Ordeal." Unfortunately, the patch was produced and sold misspelling his last name as "Hubard."
