Patch originally surfaced on E-Bay in December of 2011. Listed by seller "discountbar" based overseas. During 2011, (and previously during the summer of 2005), a number of lodges saw a flood of Asian fakes of classic issues flood E-Bay. The seller used several different E-Bay seller IDs, with a new ID seemingly popping up once the E-Bay community members reported the fraud to E-Bay, successfully closing down sales under the reported ID. To our knowledge, at least two copies of this fake were sold on E-Bay. It remains unknown how many copies of this fake were made/issued.
