Also known as The Bronze Duck, this small totem pin is designed to be affixed to the S2 Service flap and can only be earned by new Arrowmen who have fulfilled a set of requirements during their first year of membership.
The program began with the 2008 Winter Ordeal and the first pins were awarded at the 2009 Winter Ordeal. Scouts and Scouters who were members of Wahunsenakah Lodge prior to the Winter 2008 Ordeal are not eligible to earn this Award. Lodge Program Adviser David Singletary was instrumental in the development of the Wahunsenakah Lodge First Year Arrowman Award.
