FDL; VIG; LB; PNK sky; MVE; (see "Additional Images" for varieties)
The “a” and “b” varieties of S22, S23, and S24 are nearly identical They were distinguished in the Blue Book by listing the “a” varieties as 125mm and the “b” varieties as 122mm. Note that like all patches, it is not unusual for sizes to vary by a few millimeters. The “a” varieties tend to have a less distinctly embroidered horizontal bar in the FDL, whereas “b” varieties tend to have a more cleanly embroidered bar. Also, the RED horizontal lines are lighter and more linear in the some varieties and slightly heavier and wavier in other varieties.
